Natural stone patios typically use limestone, travertine, flagstone, or quartzite. Each stone has different characteristics, but all offer the same core advantages: authenticity, uniqueness, and a connection to natural materials that manufactured products can’t fully replicate.
Oklahoma Stone Options
- Oklahoma limestone (native stone): Durable, local, great for rustic and ranch aesthetics. Excellent freeze-thaw performance when properly installed.
- Travertine: Premium look, stays cooler than concrete in direct sun. Requires sealing every 2–3 years in Oklahoma’s climate.
