- Stamping: Stamps applied in sequence at the correct plastic stage — timing is critical and requires experience
- Control joints: Saw-cut joints placed within 24 hours to control cracking location
- Cure and seal: Proper curing time followed by penetrating sealer — essential for protecting Oklahoma concrete from freeze-thaw damage
