The best way to evaluate a contractor is to see completed work. This page describes representative projects we’ve built for Broken Arrow homeowners — the scope, materials, and outcome of actual jobs. Completed project addresses are available upon request; we welcome drive-bys before any contract is signed.
Covered Patio, Fireplace, and Outdoor Kitchen — South Broken Arrow
Project scope: 22×24 covered patio addition attached to the home’s roofline, natural Oklahoma limestone outdoor fireplace, CMU block outdoor kitchen island with 42″ gas grill, side burner, under-counter refrigerator, and concrete countertops. Surrounding concrete paver patio extension and landscape border planting.
What we built: The covered patio was framed to match the home’s existing roofline pitch and shingle material — from the exterior, it reads as part of the original home rather than an addition. The fireplace was built with a full smoke chamber and clay flue tile to draw properly in the Oklahoma wind conditions common to open backyard sites. The kitchen island was positioned for the most convenient outdoor cooking workflow — grill near the back of the island facing the covered seating area, with prep counter between the grill and the house entry.
Materials: Oklahoma limestone fireplace veneer, poured concrete countertops with integral gray color, Belgard Mega Bergerac pavers for the patio extension, cedar tongue-and-groove ceiling in the covered area.
Cedar Pergola, Fire Pit, and Paver Patio — East Broken Arrow
Project scope: 16×20 cedar pergola over existing slab, built-in gas fire pit with Oklahoma limestone surround and curved seating wall, concrete paver extension adding 12×16 feet to the existing patio, landscape border design and installation.
What we built: The existing concrete slab was in decent condition, so rather than remove it, we used it as the base for the pergola and added a paver extension on two sides to reach the target patio dimensions. The cedar pergola used 6×6 posts, 2×10 primary beams, and 2×8 rafters — oversized for the span to achieve the heavier visual weight the homeowner wanted.
The fire pit was positioned at the edge of the paver extension with a half-circle seating wall that defines the gathering area and provides seating for 6. Gas connection ran approximately 35 feet from the home’s meter to the fire pit — we coordinated the licensed plumbing work as part of the project.
Natural Flagstone Patio and Stone Retaining Wall — West Broken Arrow
Project scope: Existing sloped backyard with significant grade change. Natural Oklahoma limestone flagstone patio (18×24) built on the upper terrace, stone retaining wall (32 feet long, 3.5 feet tall) creating the level surface, step system connecting patio level to lower yard, and planting beds along the wall face.
What we built: The retaining wall was the foundation that made everything else possible. Concrete footing, Allan Block structural system with Oklahoma limestone cap and face veneer — the wall looks natural stone from a distance while having the structural integrity of engineered block construction. The limestone flagstone patio on top used mortared irregular pieces with raked joints and a seating wall along the outer edge that doubles as a safety rail at the terrace edge.
Outcome: The previously unusable sloped yard became the best feature of the home — a private elevated terrace with lawn below. The homeowner has since added a fire pit and pergola as follow-on projects.
Outdoor Kitchen and Extended Patio — North Broken Arrow
Project scope: Existing 16×16 concrete pad upgraded to stamped concrete (Ashlar Slate pattern, buff/brown color scheme), outdoor kitchen addition (CMU block, 42″ grill, two-burner side unit, 21″ outdoor refrigerator, concrete countertops, Oklahoma limestone veneer), and landscape planting on three patio sides.
What we built: Rather than tear out the existing concrete, we overlaid with a micro-topping and stamped the pattern into the fresh surface — cost-effective way to upgrade an existing slab that was structurally sound but aesthetically dated. The kitchen island was positioned to anchor the back of the patio and face the seating area, with the grill on the end accessible from either side of the island.
